March and April
After my decent February, March went completely downhill. I got sick with strep throat, which really knocked me out and ended up on a heavy round of antibiotics. Due to all of this I didn’t write a March update and didn’t really follow through on much of my March goals.
Then along came Passover. We had family staying with us and hosted a dinner for 10 people. Preparing for Passover and dealing with my son’s erratic school vacation schedule made working out during April near impossible.
On the bright side, I have been going to spinning classes (which I love) and going for walks when I can. Also, since I couldn’t really eat with strep throat I drank a lot of water and continue to do so.
I’m becoming much more aware of what I’m doing health wise so even if I’m not keeping up on my goals at least I’m thinking about them…
Despite these setbacks I’m going to try and do a reset in May. I really hope to get back on track, drink that water, take those 10,000 steps and workout much as I’ve planned.
Because March and April were kind of a step back for me, I’m going to keep my goals the same for May.
- Drink 2L of water per day
- Walk 10,000 steps most days of the week
- Getting to the gym 4 days per week
How are your goals going this year? I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
